Junior Band Music Programme

The Junior Band Music Programme is a band focused, beginners music programme and acts as a feeder school for MTB senior band.

It is owned and managed by Music Educator, Kim Magee who is also the director of MTB senior band. As well as being a lifelong member of the band, Kim has a BA Hons in Applied Music (DkIT) and MA in Community Music (UL) and her father Hubert was MTB director for over 60 years prior to handing the baton to Kim in 2014.

In Autumn 2021, the Junior Band Music Programme was re-launched with the addition of bucket drumming and flags to weekly classes.
